Ivan began his professional journey as an Environmental Engineer, contributing to projects for the US Navy and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). Transitioning from this role, he entered the IT field. His subsequent career includes experience as a consultant, Project Manager, and Senior Manager. In these capacities, he has successfully supported a diverse range of organizations, including Fortune 500 multinational telecom service providers, as well as public sector and Department of Defense (DOD) entities.
Current Role: Ivan serves as Project Manager for the VTESS Training Infrastructure team, which maintains the systems and technologies that support the VBA learner community.
Fun Fact: Ivan enjoys biking, watching his twin boys grow up, and spending time at his parents house in the southside of Virginia. He is an avid spice collector and once was co-owner of a Washington DC based retail spice shop.
